vāyuruvāca | iti śrutvā vacastasya bālakasya mahāmateḥ | pratyuvāca tadā mātā suprasannā manasvinī
ヴァーユは言った。かくして大いなる慧を備えたその少年の言葉を聞くや、母は心静かにして志堅く、深い歓喜をもって答えた。
Vayu
Tattva Level: pashu
It highlights śravaṇa (reverent listening) as a doorway to dharma and Shaiva insight—wisdom may manifest in any vessel, even a child, and the receptive mind responds with clarity and joy.
Though the verse is narrative, it supports Saguna Shiva practice indirectly: devotion and right conduct begin with attentive listening to true counsel, which then ripens into disciplined worship and faith in Śiva as Pati (the Lord).
The implied practice is śravaṇa and manana—listen to Shaiva teaching, reflect steadily, and respond with a resolved mind; this is the inner foundation for mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and regular pūjā.
