पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

Transliteration

snāpayetkalaśaiḥ pūrṇairaṣṭāpadasamudbhavaiḥ | gaṃdhadravyaissakarpūraiścandanādyaissakuṃkumaiḥ

Translation

八弁の台座（アシュターパダ）に据えた満たされた水瓶によって、シヴァの聖なるリンガに沐浴灌頂（アビシェーカ）を行い、香料に加えて樟脳・白檀など、さらにサフランをも用いて、至上の主パティ、解脱を授ける慈悲深き御方への浄めの灌沐を成就すべし。
