अनादिमलसंश्लेषः प्रागभावात्स्वभावतः । अत्यंतं परिशुद्धात्मेत्यतो ऽयं शिव उच्यते

Transliteration

anādimalasaṃśleṣaḥ prāgabhāvātsvabhāvataḥ | atyaṃtaṃ pariśuddhātmetyato 'yaṃ śiva ucyate

Translation

その本性において、彼には無始以来の穢れとの結合がなく—その汚れは初めより存在せず—しかもその自己は究極に清浄である。ゆえに彼は「シヴァ」と称される。
