त्रिमलास्त्वधमा ज्ञेया यथोत्तरमधिष्ठिताः । त्रिमलानधितिष्ठंति द्विमलैकमलाः क्रमात्

Transliteration

trimalāstvadhamā jñeyā yathottaramadhiṣṭhitāḥ | trimalānadhitiṣṭhaṃti dvimalaikamalāḥ kramāt

Translation

三つの垢（マラ）に縛られる者は、絡みつきの度合いが増す順において最も下位であると知るべきである。次第に、二つの垢をもつ者、さらに一つの垢をもつ者はその位を超えて昇り、三垢の状態に支配されなくなる。
