It points to the imperishable ground (amṛta) as the true support of existence and identifies the sustaining divine potency as knowledge, radiance, and power—showing that liberation arises by recognizing this inner foundation rather than clinging to outer forms.
The Liṅga symbolizes the support of all worlds; this verse explains that the same supporting reality pervades even the subtlest elements as essence and light. Saguna worship trains the mind to perceive that all powers and qualities ultimately rest in Shiva-tattva (with Śakti as inseparable).
Meditate on Shiva as the inner tejas (luminous awareness) and rasa (essential life) within the body and elements, while repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and steadying the mind on the Liṅga as the symbol of that imperishable support.
