微笑みつつ、まるでその面影を飲み干すかのように目を大きく開き、主は彼女と語らんとして、先に語った言葉をふたたび口にした。
Suta Goswami (narrating the Vāyavīyasaṃhitā account)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It portrays Śiva as the compassionate Pati who turns toward the soul with grace—His attentive gaze and repeated words symbolize patient divine guidance that loosens pāśa (bondage) through loving instruction and presence.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva—personal, responsive, and relational—showing that devotion is not merely ritual but a living exchange where the Lord “speaks again” to uplift the devotee’s understanding and steadiness.
It suggests dhyāna and śravaṇa: steady, loving contemplation of Śiva’s form and attentive listening to His teaching—practically supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a focused, receptive mind.
