そのとき主のうちに大いなる慈悲が起こった。「このわが帰依者は常に女神の御心に住し、また邪悪なるものどもから守護する者である。」
Lord Shiva (narrated within Suta Goswami’s discourse in the Vāyavīyasaṃhitā)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It highlights Shiva’s kripā (grace): the Lord recognizes true upāsanā (devotional worship) and responds with compassionate protection, showing the Pati’s guardianship over the devotee.
The verse reflects Saguna Shiva’s personal relationship with the bhakta—Shiva actively intervenes as protector. Such intimacy is central to Linga worship where the devotee approaches Shiva as a living, responsive Lord.
The takeaway is steadfast daily upāsanā—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and remembrance of Shiva with devotion, cultivating the inner assurance of divine protection from harmful forces.
