इत्युक्तः प्रहसन्प्राह ब्रह्माणं परमेश्वरः । नास्ति मे तादृशस्सर्गस्सृज त्वमशुभाः प्रजाः
ityuktaḥ prahasanprāha brahmāṇaṃ parameśvaraḥ | nāsti me tādṛśassargassṛja tvamaśubhāḥ prajāḥ
そう告げられると、至上主(シヴァ)は微笑み、梵天に言われた。「そのような創造は我に属さぬ。汝こそアシュバ・プラジャー(不浄の性向をもつ衆生)を創れ。」

The verse distinguishes Parameśvara (Pati) as ever-pure and untouched by mala (impurity), while assigning the manifesting of impure/tamasic beings to Brahmā within cosmic order—pointing seekers toward Śiva as the purifier and liberator beyond bondage.
By declaring that impurity does not pertain to Him, the text supports Linga/Saguna-Śiva worship as a means to approach the stainless Lord who dissolves aśubha vāsanās; the Linga symbolizes the pure, transcendent Pati even while creation unfolds through other agencies.
A practical takeaway is purification-oriented sādhana: japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa, cultivating śubha guṇas and reducing aśubha tendencies that bind the paśu.
