Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga passage; Śiva empowers Brahmā to resume prajā-sṛṣṭi, showing that creation proceeds by Śiva’s sanction and grace.
Type: stotra
Role: liberating
It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace) as the power that dispels delusion and restores right functioning—Brahmā can create only after being awakened and empowered by Parameśvara.
Brahmā responds to Śiva’s saving, personal intervention by stuti (praise), reflecting Saguna devotion—approaching the Lord through hymns and reverence, which in Purāṇic practice is central to Linga-worship.
Stotra-pāṭha (recitation of hymns) and japa done with the attitude of receiving Śiva’s grace—using sacred sound to awaken clarity and devotion before undertaking one’s dharma.
