Transliteration

ikṣvākau saṃsthite rājā vasiṣṭhavacanādabhūt | śakunipramukhāstasya putrāḥ pañcadaśa smṛtāḥ

Translation

イクシュヴァークが確立されたとき、ヴァシシュタの言葉に従って彼は王となった。彼には十五人の王子がいたと伝えられ、その中でもシャクニが筆頭であったと記憶されている。
