नाद्याद्विविधमन्नाद्यं भक्ष्याणि सुरभीणि च । यदि चिंतां समाधत्ते चित्ते कामादिषु त्रिषु
nādyādvividhamannādyaṃ bhakṣyāṇi surabhīṇi ca | yadi ciṃtāṃ samādhatte citte kāmādiṣu triṣu
心が三つ――欲望などの内なる垢――への思いに据えられているなら、二種の食を口にしてはならず、香り高い珍味や美味なる食も味わうべきではない。

Tattva Level: pasha
It teaches that external austerities like food-restraint are meaningful only when aimed at purifying the inner triad of impurities—desire and allied passions—so the mind becomes fit for Shiva-realization (Pati) beyond pasha (bondage).
Linga-worship requires inner purity and steadiness; this verse links sense-discipline (especially taste and craving) to making the mind one-pointed, so devotion to Saguna Shiva ripens into contemplative absorption and grace.
Practice moderation and sāttvika simplicity in diet, reduce indulgent foods that stimulate craving, and pair it with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady meditation to uproot kama and related disturbances.
