शुक्रोत्पत्तिः तथा महेश्वरदर्शनम् (Śukra’s Emergence and the Vision of Maheśvara)
यद्यत्कृतं विमूढत्वात्कर्म लोकेषु गर्हितम् । अजानता त्वां तत्सर्वं प्रभो मनसि मा कृथाः
yadyatkṛtaṃ vimūḍhatvātkarma lokeṣu garhitam | ajānatā tvāṃ tatsarvaṃ prabho manasi mā kṛthāḥ
この世で私が迷妄ゆえに行い、人々に咎められる業のすべて—あなたを真に知らずに為したもの—主よ、それら一切を御心に留めて、私を責めないでください。
A repentant devotee/warrior addressing Lord Shiva (in the Yuddhakhaṇḍa dialogue context)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
It teaches śaraṇāgati (surrender): one acknowledges delusion-born wrongdoing and seeks Shiva’s anugraha (grace), by which pāpa and bondage are loosened and the soul turns toward liberation.
Approaching Shiva as the compassionate Lord (Saguna Shiva) enables a devotee to confess faults and seek purification; such inner humility is considered essential alongside outward Linga worship.
A kṣamā-prārthanā (prayer for forgiveness) before Shiva—often done after japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” with vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) and calm self-review of actions.
