purā vidhiprārthanayā yuddhamādau harerapi | madhukaiṭabhayordetyavarayoḥ pralayārṇave

Translation

いにしえ、万物の始まりにおいて、ヴィディ（梵天）の祈願により、ハリ（ヴィシュヌ）でさえも戦いへと招かれ、滅尽の海（プララヤ）にて、魔の雄マドゥとカイタバと相まみえた。
