निजसेनापतिं वीरं समाहूय समादृतः । आदिदेश स सनद्धस्संग्रामं कर्तुऽमुद्यतः
nijasenāpatiṃ vīraṃ samāhūya samādṛtaḥ | ādideśa sa sanaddhassaṃgrāmaṃ kartu'mudyataḥ
彼は敬意をもって自軍の勇猛なる将帥を召し寄せ、全身を武具で固め、戦いに臨む決意のもとに命を下した。
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pashu
The verse highlights disciplined resolve (udyama) guided by rightful command—an outer image of the Shaiva Siddhanta ideal: act in the world with steadiness and duty while ultimately depending on Pati (Shiva) as the inner governor of all action.
In the Shiva Purana, Saguna Shiva supports devotees in worldly responsibilities; this verse mirrors that ethos—preparation and command are performed with order and purpose, like approaching the Linga with proper upachara (reverent procedure) and focused intention.
Adopt “sanaddha” inner readiness through japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namah Shivaya) and mental steadiness before any major undertaking; pair it with simple Shaiva conduct such as Tripundra (bhasma) remembrance and a brief pranava-centered meditation.
