その間、スカンダとガネーシャ――全軍の総大将たる二柱――は歓喜して身支度を整え、全身に鎧をまとい武器を携え、主シヴァの御側近くに陣取った。

The verse highlights sevā-bhakti—devoted service to Pati (Śiva). Skanda and Gaṇeśa act with joy and readiness near Śiva, showing that true strength and victory arise when action is aligned with devotion and the Lord’s presence.
Standing ‘near Śiva’ emphasizes Saguna-upāsanā: approaching the Lord as the living, gracious protector. In Linga worship too, the devotee ‘draws near’ through pūjā, mantra, and surrender, seeking Śiva’s guidance before undertaking worldly duties.
A practical takeaway is to begin duties with Śiva-smaraṇa and the Panchākṣarī—mentally repeating “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” optionally with vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa—cultivating inner armour (discipline) and right intention before action.
