The verse depicts divine splendour and royal majesty as symbols of Shiva’s accessible, Saguna manifestation—inviting the devotee to contemplate sacred beauty as a doorway to inner purity and grace.
While the Linga points to the formless (Nirguna) reality, such descriptions of a gem-throne and celestial radiance support Saguna contemplation—helping the mind focus steadily in devotion, which then matures into insight.
Practice dhyāna (visual meditation) on Shiva’s luminous presence while chanting the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” using the imagery of brilliance and auspiciousness to stabilize attention and deepen bhakti.
