nāśo'bhicārato nāsti dharmiṣṭhānāṃ na saṃśayaḥ | iti prāha svayaṃ ceśaḥ śrutyācārapramāṇakṛt
「最も正しき者には、呪詛・邪術による滅びはない—疑いはない。」かくして主自らが語り、シュルティと正しき行いを真の証拠の拠り所として確立された。
Lord Shiva (Īśa/Rudra)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Rudra
It teaches that one established in dharma and aligned with Śiva’s order is protected from harmful occult forces; spiritual integrity (dharma) becomes a shield through Śiva’s grace, leaving no room for fear or doubt.
Linga worship expresses surrender to Saguna Śiva as the protecting Lord (Īśa). The verse implies that devotion grounded in scriptural discipline (śruti) and right living (ācāra) draws Śiva’s guardianship, making external malefic rites ineffective.
Follow śruti-guided ācāra: daily Śiva-smaraṇa and japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), together with pure conduct; such disciplined devotion is presented as the practical safeguard against fear of abhicāra.
