विष्णुचेष्टितवर्णनम् / Account of Viṣṇu’s Stratagem and Its Aftermath
धात्र्युद्भवा स्मृता धात्री माभवा मालती स्मृता । गौरीभवा च तुलसी तमस्सत्त्वरजोगुणाः
dhātryudbhavā smṛtā dhātrī mābhavā mālatī smṛtā | gaurībhavā ca tulasī tamassattvarajoguṇāḥ
ダートリーはダートリー樹（アーマラキー）より生まれたと説かれ、マーラティーはマーの植物より起こったと伝えられる。トゥラシーはガウリーより生じたと言われる。これらはまた三つのグナ――タマス、サットヴァ、ラジャス――にも結び付く。
