Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
The verse frames worldly conflict as a movement of cosmic order (dharma) where opposing forces act according to their nature; for a Shaiva reader, it reminds one to hold to Shiva (Pati) as the steady inner refuge while outer events surge.
Though the verse is martial, its context in the Shiva Purana points back to Saguna Shiva as the supreme governor of outcomes; devotion to Shiva-Linga is upheld as the stabilizing practice that transcends victory and defeat.
A practical takeaway is to maintain japa of the Panchakshara ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and steady breath-awareness during agitation; if following Purana-based observance, apply Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and keep a Rudrāksha as a reminder of Shiva-centered composure.
