शिवतेजसः समुद्रे बालरूपप्रादुर्भावः (Śiva’s Tejas Manifesting as a Child in the Ocean)
समुद्रोऽति सुखं प्राप सुतं दृष्ट्वा हि सस्त्रियम् । दानं ददौ द्विजातिभ्योऽप्यन्येभ्यश्च यथाविधि
samudro'ti sukhaṃ prāpa sutaṃ dṛṣṭvā hi sastriyam | dānaṃ dadau dvijātibhyo'pyanyebhyaśca yathāvidhi
花嫁と並ぶ我が子を見て、サムドラはこの上ない歓喜に満たされた。ついで定められた作法に従い、再生族(ヴェーダに通ずる者)や他の人々にも布施の贈り物を施した。

The verse highlights dharmic gratitude: joy is sanctified by righteous action, and prosperity is stabilized through dāna performed yathāvidhi—an outward sign of inner humility before Pati (Śiva) who governs all fruits of karma.
Although the Liṅga is not named here, the ethic aligns with Saguna Śiva worship: offerings and charity done according to śāstra are extensions of pūjā, turning household milestones into acts of devotion and purification.
The practical takeaway is disciplined dāna (charity) performed yathāvidhi—after auspicious events, give to qualified recipients; accompany it with a simple Śiva-smaraṇa such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” to dedicate the act.
