त्रिपुरवर्णनम् (Tripura-varṇanam) — “Description of Tripura”
शरत्काले प्रसूतं तु भोजनं तु बुभुक्षिताः । रम्यं स्निग्धं स्थिरं हृद्यं फलं मूलमनुत्तमम्
śaratkāle prasūtaṃ tu bhojanaṃ tu bubhukṣitāḥ | ramyaṃ snigdhaṃ sthiraṃ hṛdyaṃ phalaṃ mūlamanuttamam
秋の季節、飢えた者たちはその時に実った食を口にした――麗しく、滋味に富み、身を支え、心を喜ばせるもの。さらに、最上の果実と根菜をも味わった。

It underscores dharmic harmony with ṛtu (seasonal order): when life is aligned with natural rhythm, nourishment becomes sattva-supporting—steadying the mind and heart, which in Shaiva Siddhanta aids readiness for devotion (bhakti) and disciplined conduct.
Though not directly naming the Liṅga, it supports the preparatory ethos of Saguna Shiva worship: wholesome, season-appropriate food steadies the body-mind so the devotee can perform pūjā, japa, and vrata with focus and purity.
A practical takeaway is ṛtu-śuddhi (seasonal purity): adopt simple, nourishing, wholesome foods (fruits/roots) to support japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and regular Shiva pūjā with a calm, steady mind.
