幾多の年、その神妙なる円(宇宙卵)は水中に安住していた。やがて千年の満了において、「不生にして生ずる」その本原は二つに裂けて顕現した。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadyojāta
Mantra: अनेकाब्दं तथा चाप्सु दिव्यमंडं व्यवस्थितम् । ततो वर्षसहस्रांते द्विधाकृतमजोद्भवम्
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: cosmic gestation in primordial waters; timed unfolding (thousand-year period) and first differentiation (dvidhā)
It frames creation as a timed unfolding within the primordial waters, where the ‘cosmic egg’ matures and then divides—implying that manifestation is orderly and dependent on the Supreme principle (Pati), not random.
The ‘divine orb’ imagery supports Saguna contemplation: devotees meditate on a concrete symbol of the unmanifest becoming manifest—aligned with Linga-worship as a sacred support for realizing Shiva as the causal ground beyond form.
A contemplative practice is hinted: meditate on the source of creation while repeating the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), visualizing the cosmos arising from the Supreme—supporting inward steadiness rather than external agitation.
