The verse highlights a dharmic assurance: fearlessness arises when cosmic roles are harmonized. In Shaiva Siddhanta, even when Viṣṇu grants boons, such power operates within the higher sovereignty of Pati (Śiva), reminding seekers to place desires under divine order rather than anxiety.
Though Śiva is not named in this line, the Rudra Saṃhitā’s creation narrative frames all divine interactions as functioning within Śiva’s supreme principle. Linga/Saguṇa-Śiva worship trains the devotee to seek fearlessness and right intention, so that ‘kāma’ (desire) becomes purified into devotion and duty.
The practical takeaway is cultivating nirbhayatva (fearlessness) through steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and daily Tripuṇḍra-bhasma remembrance—redirecting personal wishes into prayer for dharma, clarity, and devotion.
