संध्याचरित्रवर्णनम् (Sandhyā-caritra-varṇanam) — “Narration of Sandhyā’s Austerity and Encounter with Śiva”
यस्य ब्रह्मादयो देव मुनयश्च तपोधनाः । न विप्रण्वंति रूपाणि वर्णनीयः कथं स मे
yasya brahmādayo deva munayaśca tapodhanāḥ | na vipraṇvaṃti rūpāṇi varṇanīyaḥ kathaṃ sa me
梵天をはじめ諸天、そして苦行の富を備えた牟尼たちでさえ、御方の諸相を完全には悟り得ない。まして我が身に、どうして十分に讃え述べられようか。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It teaches Shiva’s transcendence: even exalted deities and tapas-rich sages cannot exhaustively know His manifestations, so the seeker should rely on humility, devotion, and grace rather than mere intellectual description.
Because Shiva’s full reality is beyond conceptual grasp (nirguṇa), the tradition supports accessible worship through saguna forms like the Śiva-liṅga—an embodied focus through which the devotee approaches the transcendent Pati.
Adopt a humble bhakti-centered practice: steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with liṅga-pūjā, along with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as supportive Shaiva disciplines.
