Kṣu’s Request
विष्णुरुवाच । भो भो दधीच विप्रर्षे भवार्चनरताव्यय । वरमेकं वृणे त्वत्तस्तद्भवान् दातुमर्हति
viṣṇuruvāca | bho bho dadhīca viprarṣe bhavārcanaratāvyaya | varamekaṃ vṛṇe tvattastadbhavān dātumarhati
ヴィシュヌは言った。「おお、尊きダディーチ婆羅門の聖仙よ、婆羅門の中の最勝者よ—バヴァ(主シヴァ)への礼拝に揺るぎなく励む御方よ—私は汝に一つの恩寵を願う。どうかそれを授けてくだされ。」
