It teaches that refuge in Śaṅkara’s grace makes the devotee spiritually “unslayable”—protected from the fear and bondage of death—because Mahādeva is Mṛtyuñjaya and the remover of affliction.
It points to Saguna worship—adoring Mahādeva as Mṛtyuñjaya—commonly approached through Liṅga-pūjā, where the devotee seeks Śiva’s protecting presence and healing, while moving toward inner liberation.
Worship of Mṛtyuñjaya Śiva—especially japa of the Mṛtyuñjaya mantra or Panchākṣarī with focused devotion—along with simple Liṅga-archana for health, protection, and freedom from fear.
