कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
अधुना शांतरोषोहं त्वां वदामि मनोभव । शृणुष्व गतसंदेहस्सुखी भव भयं त्यज
adhunā śāṃtaroṣohaṃ tvāṃ vadāmi manobhava | śṛṇuṣva gatasaṃdehassukhī bhava bhayaṃ tyaja
今や我が怒りは鎮まった。おおマノーバヴァ(カーマ)よ、汝に語ろう――疑いを離れて聞け。安らかであれ、恐れを捨てよ。
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
The verse shows Shiva as the compassionate Pati (Lord) who pacifies wrath and grants fearlessness; doubtless listening to the Lord’s instruction becomes a doorway to inner peace and liberation-oriented clarity.
It highlights Saguna Shiva’s gracious, personal guidance—devotees approach the Linga with śraddhā (faith), letting go of fear and doubt, trusting Shiva’s protective and purifying presence.
Practice śravaṇa (reverent listening/recitation) of Shiva-kathā and japa with a fearless mind—especially Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—while cultivating doubtlessness (gata-saṃdeha) as an inner discipline.
