कामशापानुग्रहः (Kāmaśāpānugraha) — “The Curse and Grace Concerning Kāma”
संध्यापि ब्रह्मणा प्रोक्ता चेदानीं प्रेषयेद्वचः । इह कर्म परीक्ष्यैव प्रयोगान्मोहयाम्यहम्
saṃdhyāpi brahmaṇā proktā cedānīṃ preṣayedvacaḥ | iha karma parīkṣyaiva prayogānmohayāmyaham
たとえブラフマーがサンディヤー(暁と黄昏の礼拝)を定めたとしても、いま彼が命を発するとして、まずここで行われる儀礼を確かめよう。しかるのち、その適用に介入して、彼らを迷妄へと陥れよう。
Tārakāsura (inferred, as the verse expresses an asuric intent to obstruct dharma and ritual efficacy in Satīkhaṇḍa narrative context)
Tattva Level: pasha
It shows how adharma works: not by openly denying sacred duty, but by corrupting its execution (prayoga), producing moha. In Shaiva Siddhānta terms, delusion veils right knowledge and turns even dharmic acts into bondage when severed from true devotion to Śiva.
The verse contrasts mere external compliance with real spiritual alignment. Linga/Saguṇa-Śiva worship is meant to purify intent and remove moha; when hostile forces distort practice, the remedy is steady Śiva-bhakti and correct observance under proper guidance.
Perform Sandhyā and Śiva-pūjā with correct vidhi and inner recollection of Śiva; steady japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") is a direct antidote to moha that disrupts ritual clarity.
