शिवाशिवचरित्रं को जानाति परमार्थतः । स्वेच्छया क्रीडतस्तो हि चरितं कुरुतस्सदा

Transliteration

śivāśivacaritraṃ ko jānāti paramārthataḥ | svecchayā krīḍatasto hi caritaṃ kurutassadā

Translation

誰が至高の真実において、シヴァの驚異なるリーラー（神聖な戯れ）を真に知り得ようか。彼は自らの意志のままに戯れつつ、常に自由に神なる御業を成し給う。
