विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्
Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection
अहमेव प्रजास्स्रक्ष्ये सर्वाः स्थिरचरा अपि । अन्यं स्रक्ष्ये सृष्टिकरमथवाहं स्वतेजसा
ahameva prajāssrakṣye sarvāḥ sthiracarā api | anyaṃ srakṣye sṛṣṭikaramathavāhaṃ svatejasā
「我こそが、動かぬものも動くものも、あらゆる衆生を生み出そう。さもなくば、我が本有の光輝によって、創造の業を担う別の創造者を生み出す。」
Lord Śiva (as the supreme Pati, declaring sovereign creative power)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: creative
It asserts Śiva’s supreme sovereignty: all beings (moving and unmoving) arise from Him, and even a “creator” functions as His empowered instrument—supporting the Shaiva Siddhanta view of Śiva as Pati, the ultimate source and governor of manifestation.
The Liṅga symbolizes the unconditioned source from which the entire universe issues; worship of Saguna Śiva (with form) is devotion to that same supreme reality who can directly create or empower a secondary creator to manifest the worlds.
Meditate on Śiva as the origin and inner ruler of all beings while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”); offer bhasma (Tripuṇḍra) and cultivate surrender, seeing all creative power as arising from His tejas (divine potency).
