主シヴァの愛しき御言葉を聞いて、サティーは愛にすっかり没入した。彼女の心を知ったシャンカラ――常に帰依者を慈しむ御方――はこの上なく歓喜された。

It highlights bhakti as a direct means to Śiva’s grace: when the soul (devotee) becomes absorbed in loving remembrance, the Lord—bhaktavatsala—responds with pleasure and favor, indicating divine acceptance and protection.
The verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva’s personal responsiveness—He hears, knows, and blesses. Linga-worship similarly trains the mind to loving, steady focus, through which the devotee experiences Śiva’s nearness and grace.
A practical takeaway is loving japa and remembrance—especially Panchākṣarī mantra japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—performed with heartfelt devotion, as inner love is what pleases Śiva.
