आदिबीजाय सर्वेषां चिद्रूपाय पराय च । ब्रह्मणे निर्विकाराय प्रकृतेः पुरुषस्य च
ādibījāya sarveṣāṃ cidrūpāya parāya ca | brahmaṇe nirvikārāya prakṛteḥ puruṣasya ca
万有の根源の種子たる御方、清浄なる意識そのものを本性とし、至上である御方に帰命する。変化なく、変容なきブラフマンに帰命する—プラクリティ(自然)とプルシャ(個の意識原理)をともに超越する御方に。
Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya within the Rudrasaṃhitā, Satīkhaṇḍa context)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Īśāna
Significance: Contemplation of Śiva as ādibīja and cidrūpa supports jñāna-bhakti leading toward pāśa-kṣaya (loosening of māyā-bondage).
Mantra: ādibījāya sarveṣāṃ cidrūpāya parāya ca | brahmaṇe nirvikārāya prakṛteḥ puruṣasya ca
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It identifies Shiva as the primal cause and as pure Consciousness (cit), declaring Him the changeless Supreme who stands beyond the limiting categories of nature (prakṛti) and the individual soul-principle (puruṣa), guiding the seeker toward liberation through right understanding of Pati (the Lord).
The Liṅga is revered as the sign of the formless, changeless Brahman-Shiva described here; Saguna worship (form, mantra, ritual) is a supported means to approach and realize the Nirguna reality—Shiva as pure Consciousness beyond all modifications.
Meditate on Shiva as nirvikāra (unchanging) Consciousness while repeating the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” and perform simple Liṅga-upāsanā (water/offerings) with the intent of realizing Shiva beyond prakṛti and ego-bound individuality.
