Nārada
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It declares the purifying power of śravaṇa (devout listening): hearing the Śiva–Satī charitra sanctifies one’s life and makes it spiritually fruitful, strengthening bhakti toward Pati (Lord Śiva).
By praising Śiva’s līlā and divine attributes, the verse supports Saguna devotion—approaching Śiva through his sacred stories and forms—which naturally culminates in reverent worship such as Liṅga-pūjā.
Regular kathā-śravaṇa (listening/recitation of Śiva Purāṇa) with bhakti; as a practical complement, one may pair it with japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to internalize the teaching.
