Tattva Level: pasha
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: teaching
It signals the auspicious advent of the Divine Feminine (Shakti) in the royal line—an event that prepares the world for Shiva–Shakti union, a core Shaiva Siddhanta theme where grace (anugraha) arises through the harmony of Pati (Shiva) and Shakti.
Parvati’s appearance is the narrative foundation for Saguna Shiva’s household līlā: devotion culminates in Shiva’s manifest marital form, and later the Linga is worshiped with Shakti as inseparable—Shiva as consciousness and Shakti as power.
A practical takeaway is to honor Shakti alongside Shiva in worship—recite the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with a devotional resolve (bhāva), and offer simple, sattvic worship acknowledging Shiva–Shakti non-separation.
