पार्वतीजन्मवर्णनम् / Description of Pārvatī’s Birth
तान्तु दृष्ट्वा तथा जातां नीलोत्पलदलप्रभाम । श्यामा सा मेनका देवी मुदमापाति नारद
tāntu dṛṣṭvā tathā jātāṃ nīlotpaladalaprabhāma | śyāmā sā menakā devī mudamāpāti nārada
そのように生まれ出で、青蓮華の花弁のごとく輝く彼女を見て、女神メーナカー――黒みを帯びた色（シャーマー）なる方――は歓喜に満たされた、ああナーラダよ。
