自らの言葉を真実ならしめるため、あらゆる願いを満たす恩寵の女神は、完全なる神的分として山(ヒマーラヤ)の心に入り、マヘーシュヴァリーとしてそこに現前した。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Maheśvarī
Role: creative
It highlights Śakti’s sovereign freedom and compassion: the Goddess deliberately manifests to fulfill her divine resolve, showing that grace (anugraha) initiates spiritual destiny and prepares the world for Śiva–Śakti union.
By naming her Maheśvarī, the verse emphasizes Saguna divinity—Śiva with Śakti—through whom devotees receive boons and spiritual uplift; Linga worship similarly honors Śiva as the accessible, grace-bestowing Lord, inseparable from his power.
A takeaway is sankalpa with devotion: repeat the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” while contemplating Śiva–Śakti unity, praying for inner receptivity (a purified ‘heart’) so divine grace may ‘enter’ and transform the mind.
