व्रतोपवासनियमम्पतिमुल्लंघ्य या चरेत् । आयुष्यं हरते भर्तुर्मृता निरयमृच्छति
vratopavāsaniyamampatimullaṃghya yā caret | āyuṣyaṃ harate bharturmṛtā nirayamṛcchati
夫の権威を越えて、みずからの意のままに誓戒(ヴラタ)、断食、諸規定の修行を行う女は、夫の寿命を減ずると言われ、死後は地獄の境涯に堕ちる。ゆえに修行の規律は夫婦のダルマと和合して行うべきである。
