Sthala Purana: This is a colophon (adhyāya-samāpti) marking the end of a chapter describing the bridegroom’s party feast and Śiva’s repose; it functions as narrative framing rather than a specific Jyotirliṅga māhātmya.
Significance: Recitation/listening is traditionally treated as puṇya-generating śravaṇa of Śiva-kathā, supporting bhakti and saṃskāra of reverence toward Śiva’s līlā in the marriage cycle.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
Offering: naivedya
This is a colophon marking the completion of a chapter; spiritually, it signals a pause for śravaṇa-manana—absorbing the līlā of Śiva and Pārvatī as a vehicle for bhakti and inner purification under Śiva as Pati (the Lord).
Though it is a closing formula, the chapter-title points to Saguna Śiva in accessible, devotional form—His household līlā—through which devotees cultivate loving remembrance that ultimately leads toward realization of the supreme Śiva beyond form.
Use the chapter break to conclude recitation with a short japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and a simple offering (water, bilva), mentally dedicating the merit to Śiva-Pārvatī and reflecting on disciplined, sattvic conduct.
