अध्याय ४९ — विवाहानुष्ठाने ब्रह्मणः काममोहः
Brahmā’s Enchantment by Desire during the Wedding Rites
त्वमादिस्त्वमनादिश्च प्रकृतेस्त्वं परः पुमान् । विश्वेश्वरो जगन्नाथो निर्विकारः परात्परः
tvamādistvamanādiśca prakṛtestvaṃ paraḥ pumān | viśveśvaro jagannātho nirvikāraḥ parātparaḥ
御身は始まりであり、しかも無始である。プラクリティを超えて、御身は至上のプルシャ—ヴィシュヴェーシュヴァラ、ジャガンナータ、変わることなく、至高をも超える。

It declares Shiva as both the primal source and the beginningless Absolute—Pati (the Lord) who transcends Prakṛti, remains nirvikāra (unchanging), and grants liberation by revealing the reality beyond worldly change.
Though Shiva is described as parātpara (supremely transcendent), devotees approach Him through accessible saguna forms—especially the Śiva-liṅga—where the formless, changeless Lord is worshiped as Viśveśvara and Jagannātha present in the world.
Meditate on Shiva as ‘nirvikāra’ and ‘parātpara’ while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya); in ritual worship, offer bilva leaves to the liṅga with the contemplation that Shiva is beyond Prakṛti yet the Lord of all.
