मेनायाः क्रोध-विलापः — Menā’s Lament and Reproach

मेनोवाच । किं मेना हि करिष्येऽहं दुष्टां ग्रहवतीं शिवाम् । दास्याम्यस्यै गरन्तीव्रं कूपे क्षेप्स्यामि वा ध्रुवम्
menovāca | kiṃ menā hi kariṣye'haṃ duṣṭāṃ grahavatīṃ śivām | dāsyāmyasyai garantīvraṃ kūpe kṣepsyāmi vā dhruvam
メーナーは言った。「このシヴァーは性根が悪く、まるで邪なる影響に取り憑かれている。わたしは彼女に猛毒を与えるか、さもなくば必ず井戸へ投げ込んでしまおう。」
