The verse highlights that sacred rites performed with joy (prīti) and in harmony with dharma become offerings to Pati (Śiva), turning worldly ceremony into a devotional act that supports auspiciousness and spiritual merit.
By addressing Śiva as “Nātha” and urging auspicious rites, the verse reflects Saguna devotion—honoring Śiva as the personal Lord who receives ritual worship and blesses the household and society through dharmic observances.
It suggests performing auspicious preparatory rites (mandapa-sthāpana and Nandīmukha) with devotional intent; practitioners may accompany such rites with Shaiva bhakti practices like japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and reverent purity observances.
