かくして彼によって、そのマण्डパは築かれた――まことに神々しい姿を備え、多くの奇瑞を具して現れ、広大なる光輝を放ち、神々さえも魅了するほどであった。

The verse highlights how sacred space (a maṇḍapa) becomes a vessel for divine presence: when fashioned for dharmic worship, it manifests beauty and wonder that elevates the mind toward devotion and grace.
A maṇḍapa is a traditional setting for saguna upāsanā—ritual worship with form—supporting offerings, mantra, and darśana; such ordered sacred architecture helps the devotee focus on Shiva’s accessible, worshipful manifestation.
It implies preparing a clean, consecrated worship space for Shiva-pūjā—ideally with mantra-japa (especially the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and attentive, reverent contemplation during rites.
