अनरण्यसुता–पिप्पलादचरितम् / The Episode of Anaraṇya’s Daughter and Sage Pippalāda
गृहा भवन्तु ते साध्वि सर्वसम्पत्सम न्विताः । प्रकाशमन्तस्सततं कुबेरभवनाधिकाः
gṛhā bhavantu te sādhvi sarvasampatsama nvitāḥ | prakāśamantassatataṃ kuberabhavanādhikāḥ
おお貞淑なる婦人よ、あなたの家々があらゆる繁栄に満ちますように。内なる光明が常に輝き、クベーラの壮麗なる邸宅をさえ凌ぎますように。
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: nurturing
Offering: naivedya
The verse blesses worldly well-being while placing higher emphasis on “inner radiance,” aligning with Shaiva thought that Shiva’s anugraha (grace) purifies the heart and makes prosperity dharmic rather than binding.
As Saguna Shiva, the compassionate Lord grants boons for household harmony and prosperity; in Linga worship, devotees seek not only external success but also the steady inner illumination that arises from Shiva’s presence.
A practical takeaway is daily Shiva-puja with Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and maintaining purity (e.g., Tripuṇḍra/bhasma where appropriate), praying that one’s home be blessed with both auspiciousness and inner clarity.
