ततस्तेजस्स्वरूपञ्च निराकारं निरंजनम् । निरुपाधिं निरीहञ्च महाद्भुतमरूपकम्

tatastejassvarūpañca nirākāraṃ niraṃjanam | nirupādhiṃ nirīhañca mahādbhutamarūpakam

Translation

そのとき、純粋な光輝を自性とする実在が顕れた――無相にして無垢、限定する付帯（ウパーディ）を離れ、個人的な作為なく、量り知れぬほど奇瑞でありながら、いかなる物質的形態も持たない。シャイヴァの理解では、これは主（パティ）としてのシヴァ、顕現に先立つ本質的にニルグナなる超越の光を示す。
