サナカをはじめとする聖賢を見て、彼らは皆ただちに立ち上がった。そこに居並ぶ、諸世界に礼拝される神々と尊者に拝礼し、しかるべき謙恭をもって立った。
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
The verse highlights śiṣṭācāra (sacred conduct): rising, bowing, and honoring realized sages and divine beings. In Shaiva understanding, humility purifies the pashu (bound soul) and prepares the heart for Shiva-bhakti and grace (anugraha).
Linga-worship is not only ritual but also inner discipline—reverence, surrender, and honoring Shiva’s devotees and the devas. Such respectful reception mirrors approaching Saguna Shiva with devotion, which ripens into deeper realization.
Practice namaskāra with awareness—mentally bowing to Shiva, gurus, and sages before japa or pūjā. Begin Panchakshara japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) after offering respectful salutations, cultivating humility as the foundation of worship.
