काली-परिचयः / Himagiri Presents Kālī (Pārvatī) to Śiva
एवं पुनर्न वक्तव्यं तपस्विवरसंश्रित । वेदधर्मप्रवीणस्त्वं यतो ज्ञानिवरो बुधः
evaṃ punarna vaktavyaṃ tapasvivarasaṃśrita | vedadharmapravīṇastvaṃ yato jñānivaro budhaḥ
「ゆえに、最勝の苦行者に帰依する者よ、二度とそのように語ってはならぬ。汝はヴェーダのダルマの道に通暁している。されば汝は賢者、知者の中の最勝である。」
Lord Shiva (instructing within the Parvati Khanda narrative)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
It teaches restraint in speech (vāg-niyama) and humility: one devoted to the highest tapas should align words with Vedic dharma, which supports purity (śuddhi) and readiness for Shiva’s grace.
Linga/Saguna Shiva worship emphasizes disciplined conduct—truthful, dharmic speech and reverence toward ascetics and gurus—so the devotee’s outer practice matches inner devotion.
Practice mindful silence or measured speech alongside japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), maintaining a dharmic vow (vrata) that refines conduct while worshipping Shiva.
