Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Gaurī
Role: nurturing
It highlights selfless seva (loving service) as a form of bhakti: the divine mothers treat the Lord’s purpose as their own, offering what is dearest—symbolizing surrender of ego and possessiveness to Pati (Shiva) and His divine work.
The verse reflects Saguna devotion—serving Shiva’s manifest līlā through caring for His divine child and mission; such nurturing devotion supports Linga-worship’s inner aim: offering one’s attachments into Shiva with reverence and responsibility.
Practice bhakti through seva: offer daily actions to Shiva with the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), and cultivate protective, compassionate mindfulness—serving family and dependents as an offering to Shiva.
