おお聖仙よ、彼の精の微滴はただちに皮膚の毛孔を通って彼女らの身に入り、あらゆる毛孔に遍満した火は焼く力を失った。シヴァの神聖なる定めにより、その灼熱は鎮められたのである。

It portrays Śiva’s śakti as utterly sovereign: even a force as consuming as fire becomes harmless when governed by the Lord’s will, teaching that divine grace can neutralize the burning of karma and passion.
The episode emphasizes Saguna Śiva as the compassionate, regulating Lord (Pati) who transforms intense energies into auspicious outcomes—mirroring how Linga-worship seeks Śiva’s presence to purify and redirect life-force toward dharma and liberation.
A takeaway is disciplined purification with bhakti—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and inner restraint—so that inner “fire” (tapas, desire, anger) becomes dāha-vivarjita, i.e., non-harming and spiritually productive.
