अहं च परिणेष्यामि ह्यहं चैव पुनः पुनः । परस्परं च नित्यं वै विवादे तत्परावुभौ
ahaṃ ca pariṇeṣyāmi hyahaṃ caiva punaḥ punaḥ | parasparaṃ ca nityaṃ vai vivāde tatparāvubhau
「我もまた(彼女を)娶る。まことに、幾度も幾度も『娶るのはこの我ひとり』と宣言する。」かくして二柱は常に互いに争い、論争に心を向けていた。

The verse highlights how egoic insistence (“I alone”) breeds constant conflict; Shaiva teaching urges dissolving ahamkāra through devotion to Pati (Shiva) and alignment with dharma, so the mind becomes fit for grace and liberation.
