It teaches that steady daily devotion (nitya-pūjā) done with śraddhā, even within limited means, becomes spiritually effective and yields appropriate fruits—showing bhakti is measured by sincerity, not extravagance.
In Śaiva practice, Gaṇeśa is honored as the Lord of Śiva’s gaṇas and a gateway to auspicious worship; daily worship of Gaṇeśa supports orderly, obstacle-free devotion to Saguna Śiva (including Liṅga-pūjā) and its intended results.
A simple daily Gaṇeśa-pūjā with faith—offering water, flowers, lamp, and a short prayer—performed sva-śakti (within one’s means); it implies consistency and devotion more than any specific item like rudrākṣa or bhasma.
